I know they are just kids. And sometimes kids just don't understand stuff.
But, even as a kid, they should understand what is sympathy and how to feel bad for someone who suffered and not making fun of them.
I have seen people make some joke to cheer up people who are injured before, but enjoy a horny talk over someone who is injured is crossing the line even for a joke.

Having horny thought is fine, but talking it out like nothing and not concerning about the victim is not fine even if not in front of them. There are things alright to be used for conversation, but there are things shouldn't just say it out.

I only ever seen they cry when they get scolded too much by their teacher when they are extremely angry, or when heartbroken but can't hold it anymore, some are tough and keep holding their sadness [but it is better to let it out, then have people comfort them, otherwise it would depress them more].

Also, ain't no way there's no reason people cry for. Even for a boy, or girl, if they cry, that means they must have felt hurt inside.
